When doing internal work with my clients to help them create external results, I am continually amazed at the outcomes. By clearing internal obstacles, these clients allow the path to success to become simpler and quicker.

I believe that we are all born with this potential to bring forth who we are. Somewhere along the way in our lives, however, we adapt to the conditioning of those around us and start hiding our true identity. The real magic is in exploring and embracing who we are when we first came to this planet so that we can get in touch with our natural gifts and share them with others to make a difference in the world. When we share our essence in our marketing, clients are naturally drawn to us.

Here is a photo of my client Rosalyn and I after the retreat. Rosalyn is holding her money archetype card which is ‘Love’.

Rosalyn demonstrated the courage to access her magic. She discovered that what she needed the most was ‘love’, and so she worked on clearing energy that was standing in her way of what she wanted. And in so doing, she also let go of the contracts that no longer served her. Although the intention of these contracts was love for others, Rosalyn realized she needed to have self-love as her first goal. This allowed her to give herself the permission to take care of the self first and foremost. Now, with new decisions and contracts formed to make herself a first priority in her life, she is on her way to creating more income.

Rosalyn also discovered that when we can let go of the emotional charge around debts, it becomes easier to clear the physical manifestation of it. When clearing her family’s money legacy and creating one of her own, Rosalyn formulated particular affirmations that will help her move forward in her business. She has written them on a large sheet of paper and posted them in her office to serve as a visual reminder of what is her new focus. We all have a unique, family money blueprint; therefore, we all have individual affirmations specifically designed for our own clearing process. Here is a poster of Rosalyn’s affirmations.

You want to step up big in your business. You see your potential, but the inner voices get a hold of you and you start to see all the obstacles in your way. I strongly believe in clearing the energy internally to pave a way for more abundance to enter your life. Here are 3 steps that you can take to tame those inner voices so that you can step up to claim the income you would like to make.

Welcome All The Inner Voices

Instead of changing the inner voices to positive ones right away, first, welcome all the negative ones with their full capacity. Stay with them. Let them move through your body. Accept your emotions, even if they are of grief or sadness. Whichever emotions come up, let them be there. Once you can be with your limiting voices, you won’t be allowing them to grow stronger. Instead, they will lose their power over you. You will be able to see them for what they are- an illusion based on somebody else’s reality of life, somebody from your childhood.

Face Your Vulnerability

Once you face your vulnerability, the illusion of limiting inner voices- all of the reasons these voices give you for why you cannot shine big- will disappear. You can now plant new seeds. This includes looking at your goals, looking at the possibilities that are available to you, and seeing your potential for shining big. In this way, you can create a fertile ground for the new possibilities to enter.

Making Space for The New

By welcoming inner voices, you are also releasing them from your consciousness. You are now ready to fill the holes with new realities and possibilities. Now it is time to pick up your new goals and create a plan for achieving them.

Last week, I taught a workshop on healing one’s relationship with money at a group called the 10 Hour Work Week. This group is based on Tim Ferriss’ book The 4 Hour Work Week. What an amazing group of people that attended. Below is some information from a handout we worked through during the workshop.

To create abundance of income in your heart-centered business, you must pay attention to your ‘money energy leaks’. Look at the following descriptions below to find out what your ‘money energy leak’ is. What is the underlying belief that drives the leak, and what do you need to do to heal that leak so that you too can make the income you deserve?

Which one of the following may be true for you?

1) Time Energy Boundaries: Giving too much time You give away your precious time and energy because you are afraid of saying ‘no.’

Belief accompanied is: I am not providing enough value so I should give more time. The issue: Lack of Value. You are not in touch with the benefits of your work.

Solution: Create packages; sell benefits instead of charging dollar per hour.

Write down how you would like to spend your time. What are the things you absolutely love to do in your business? Who are the clients you love to work with? Give away anything you don’t love to do, and let go of clients you don’t enjoy working with to make room for the new.

2) Money Energy Boundaries: Charging too little

Belief accompanied by it: That there is not enough to go around. People don’t have enough so you try to rescue the world before filling up your own tank. Issue: Coming from lack instead of abundance. Not seeing others as resourceful, capable to pay you.

Solution: Make a decision on what kind of lifestyle you would you like to enjoy. How much money do you need to create the lifestyle that honors who you are? Don’t compromise your time. Charge what your time is worth to create the life you want.

Get in touch with your needs; how much you need to make in what amount of time.

3) Self-Love Energy Boundaries: Negative self-chatter is another way you zap yourself out of your precious time and energy. If someone doesn’t buy your product or services, you take rejection personally and beat yourself up over it, in your head, and your heart. This stops you from moving forward.

Belief accompanied by it: Lack of self-love, lack of self-worth.

Solution: Make a list of all the results you have gotten and accomplishments you had made from working with your previous clients or at your current career. Carry that list with you, and whenever you need to get in touch with your value, refer back to that list.

Pay attention to how you talk to yourself.  Reward yourself, not only for results, but for effort made.

Historically, we have seen people in authority as well as religious institutions use money to exercise power in negative ways. As a result, some of us unconsciously fear that having money will somehow make us the ‘bad guy’, or we judge rich people, assuming they are ‘bad’.

It would be difficult to attract money if we associate negative images and experiences to it. It is crucial, therefore, that we have a positive definition of money and are able to see how it can serve us better. Money enables us to be in our personal power and act from a place of personal authority.

Money allows us to express ourselves authentically. We are not dependant on anyone else when we have money, and the need to please others due to fear of losing their support isn’t there. We can live in inter-dependant relationships trusting that we can exercise our personal power with authenticity, grace, and integrity without fear of displeasing others.

Here are three ways money can allow women to be in their personal power:

1. When a woman is in survival mode and dependent on other people for her living, it is very difficult to listen to the voice of her soul. It is even harder to draw boundaries in relationships that may not be honoring her for who she is. Being financially independent offers the woman the choice of saying ‘no’ to what isn’t serving her.

2. If you see yourself as an agent of change, someone able to make great changes, you can influence many decisions in areas of authority such as politics and other public and social arenas involving money. If you are a good person with great causes, it is important, therefore, that you see the value of money and how it can allow you to act on your internal beliefs and convictions to exercise change in causes you care about.

3. Money allows you to take better care of yourself, and you are able listen to your personal voice as you are rested, relaxed and not worried about providing for yourself.

When we are in touch with our personal values, we don’t need to fear that we will use money in a negative way. Consequently, we need to stop worrying that money will somehow turn us into a ‘bad guy’.

I am asking you to trust yourself to use money your way. You are going to serve even more people and causes when you have more money. It will allow you to be more generous when you have more.

Detach the idea of money from your thoughts of people who have misused it, and instead, visualize it wanting to come to you, to comfort you, to support you and allow you to become the powerful woman you are meant to be- powerful in your feminine, graceful and brilliant way!

Most heart-centered entrepreneurs start their business because it is close to their heart and so they love it. At the beginning, they are not hugely concerned about making profit as they are focused on expressing their passion. It is a great place to start; however, if you continue to ignore ‘money,’ you are not sending a clear message to the Universe that you have a right to receive abundance for your heart work.

Here are 3 tips on implementing changes to your mindset around making money. They will help you in your business so that you can create all the income you need, to enjoy the lifestyle your business should be providing for you.

Remember, Abundance Is Your Birthright

God created this planet abundantly. The moon, the stars, the galaxy- everything is evidence of abundance. Why would He want us to experience anything different when it comes to enjoying a great lifestyle? Be it exotic vacations with your kids, enjoying delicious, authentic cuisines, or dressing up in the clothes you like to wear, all is part of expressing your God-given abundance, beauty and feminity. Your business is a vehicle for you to create this abundance by serving others with your gifts. Money is evidence of how well, and how much, you are serving others.  It is also a token of appreciation for that service.

You Are Not Taking Away from Anyone

A lot of us raised on comparison thinking still feel that if we start to take a bigger share from the world, somehow, we are taking away from somebody else. This is thinking from the point of view of ‘lack.’ The Universe has enough for all of us. The limit is in our thinking. There are stories after stories of businesses that have tripled their income in this economy as they chose not to listen to the economical news, but created abundance from the source.

Your Playing Small Doesn’t Serve Anyone

If you don’t take your share from the world, you are not adding to the abundance of the world. By stepping up, you are setting up an example for everyone to witness what is possible. You are giving others a chance to be inspired and tap into their own abundance and miracles by watching yours.

Marianne Williamson expresses this idea beautifully in her quote:

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”

I feel such gratitude as I look at my life and how it has changed over the years. Recognizing all that I have, I often want to help other women who don’t have as many resources.

One day, when I was sitting at my computer thinking about how I could possibly make a bigger impact, I came across a story of a woman who was given a micro loan from a woman in the west. The woman being helped didn’t have a formal education, but she bought a cow, and started selling milk in the village to earn a living. With her perseverance and commitment to succeed, she was not only able to pay back the loan she was given, but she also saved money to buy another cow. And pretty soon, she had a herd.

I was touched reading the story. And happy to know that given a small opportunity and belief, women can change their own destinies. I realized that we can help these women by shining our own light. By claiming our share from the world! By expressing our talents and sharing our unique gifts. The only way to help another woman is to step up and live your dreams.

When we live our dreams, we not only give ourselves a chance to grow and succeed, but we also become leaders, role models and an example for others to step up. In living our dreams, we give others permission to live out theirs. I felt at peace knowing all I need to do is believe in these women’s abilities to be resourceful, and I need to support them by being a role model in manifesting my own dreams.

What confirmed my belief even further was when I learnt about the Hundredth Monkey Effect, a testament to the energetic impact we have on each other. As part of the research of this phenomenon, it was found that when a certain number of monkeys (supposedly a hundred) in Japan were performing a new act, this learned behavior instantly spread across to monkeys in other areas.

The monkeys picked up on a vibration that was so far away in distance from them, but was powerful enough that they were still able to imitate the behavior from the first group of monkeys. The two groups were not in physical contact with each other and could not see each other, yet they had an impact on one another.

What this means in terms of the ‘law of attraction’ is that by changing our vibration, we energetically affect others on the planet. We can collectively make a huge difference by living our brilliance and shining our light. And this, in turn, has an influence on others.

A woman feeling fearful of starting a business in a third world country can overcome her fear by tapping into the universal energies of strength and courage. We can help her tap into the energy of strength and courage by overcoming our own fears and vibrating at the higher frequency of love and faith rather than fear.

I would encourage you to pick up a dream you are afraid to believe in and think again. If you can go after it, work to realize it, you are impacting not only the course of your life but also those of others as well.

If, like myself, you also believe in the power of the one Universe, then you know that by overcoming your obstacles, claiming your value and charging what you are worth you support woman all over the world. All you need to do is increase your vibration, live your dreams and women all over the world will pick up on it.

I remember a conversation I had with another business coach who shared with me that people don’t buy products, people buy people. This is so true. What she meant was that we buy from people whom we like, know and trust.

How does one build trust? How does one connect with wider audiences in the world of the internet and take advantage of reaching people globally to sell their services and products?

In today’s newsletter, I am going to take this one step further, and teach you how to build relationships with these viewers and how to ask your web visitors to subscribe to your newsletters.

The key is to give your viewers a taste of your services by creating a free product by which you would share your expertise. Just asking people to subscribe to your newsletter is not enough anymore. You need to give them some incentive to subscribe to your updates.

Do not hesitate to provide the best value in your free product. Remember, if you provide great value, and people experience your brilliant work via a free product, you are building a lasting relationship with them. They will then want to continue to receive further updates from you. Eventually, they will become your clients, and you can continue to serve them by providing great value at different price points, starting with the free product on your website.

What to consider when creating your free product:  

Lastly, make sure to use an enticing title for your free product; a result-oriented title, preferably with a deadline. For example:

Your free product does not have to be a lengthy book, especially if you are not a writer. It could be:

Ideas are endless; so are possibilities. Start with where you are now, and let the world respond to you so that you can shine your brilliance one step at a time.

When you are in business doing what you love, it is natural to fall in love with your clients and their projects. When they put their projects out into the world and make a difference, you cannot help but feel proud of them. Their projects remind you of your contribution, the difference you are making and the important work you are doing in the world.

By the time they hire you they are ready for change. You don’t get attached to their success or rescue them into achieving. You believe in their ability and personal power to make a change in their lives. You hold the vision, believe in them, support them with your insights while they create their own ‘ah… ha!’ moments. You work in synchronicity and miracles unfold.

When they are excited about their work, about your relationship with them, they become a very important part of your life and that’s when falling in love with a client happens.

I would encourage you to let the love of your work and your clients inspire you to take action. You don’t know whose life you may touch, and how many others lives your clients will touch after having experienced your work, your magic.

Keep the flow of giving and receiving going in the world of exchanging goods and services. Money is an energy that defines the value and commitment of the contract we get into when we serve our clients. Keep abundance in mind when making a difference and you will find an abundance of ways to help others, through your newsletters or products and packages.

Ask yourself: Who do you need to serve? What is holding you back? Do you need to partner with someone to support you? I would encourage you to express your God given glory so that you too can make a difference in someone’s life. Receive love for yourself in return for your work and give it back too!

If you want to create great income, and make a big impact, you need to learn how to reach a large number of people in your business. To reach people globally, however, it is very important to take advantage of online modes of communication. With so much information out there about social media and others avenues for reaching people online, however, where does one start? Start with where you are.

To reach people on line, firstly, make a decision to produce a newsletter. You need some kind of data base system to send newsletters. I personally use Shopping Cart as it allows me to create a list that I can add to. This makes it easier to systemize information.

You would need to get a template created before sending a newsletter. Once the template is saved and created, either yourself or your assistant can send the newsletter. You would start with the contact list that you already have. This could consist of the people in your close circle or people you meet at networking events. You would then build your list as you grow.

Social media is another one of the biggest venue to build on-line community of your followers. It helps build relationships and gear people towards signing up for your newsletters. I generally send out my newsletter and then also have my team put my newsletter on my blog and connect it to Facebook and Twitter.

The newsletter gets sent to people who have willingly subscribed to the list, and my team connects the blog to social media for soft selling. No pressure, no push. If they like the content, they subscribe to the newsletter by clicking on the link to the blog. There is subscription information on the blog as well, and we also include a link to the website. This allows readers to download free products on the website to get the knowledge they need to move forward.

Remember, you don’t need a 7 pages website to start producing a newsletter. You can start with just one page with an offer to invite people to subscribe to your newsletter. To make your invitation enticing, you would need to create a product that solves a problem your clients are currently experiencing.

Creating that product need not to take a long time. You can audio tape it, or create an interview with a friend, as long as the product gives people a taste of what you do. It should also help build a relationship with you and the readers, to allow them greater interest in what you offer. It is a great entry point for these individuals into your world.

I would suggest making a decision to take the first step and act on at least one of the above ideas. Explore reaching out to your clients using a mode of communication that is new to you. Think globally!
